Carrie Hess

Carrie Hess is dual licensed through the Georgia Medical Board as a Laser Practitioner, and the Georgia Board of Cosmetology as a Medical Aesthetician. Specializing in all laser treatments that are offered in this rapidly developing field, she has a depth of knowledge that has been honed by over a decade of experience performing a multitude of treatments using numerous laser and IPL platforms. Carrie has worked in several settings including medical spas, plastics, and dermatology, giving her vast knowledge over the proper use of medical treatments and scientific skin care. She enjoys the satisfaction of helping transform a complexion from troubled to beautiful. Where Carrie excels is her level of care for each individual. She’s known for her calm gentle touch, clinical expertise, and her artistic eye, and she delivers highly personalized result-oriented care to both men and women. She is committed to working with each client to help them utilize the services and products that best suits their goals and needs.

Grace Thomas

Grace Thomas is a Licensed Aesthetician and Licensed Assistant Cosmetic Laser Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Athens Technical College

Grace has been with Georgia Skin Cancer for the past two years. She began her career at GSC as a Medical Assistant on the dermatology side before transitioning into aesthetics, where she worked as an assistant to Brittany Wheatley, NP-C, a cosmetic injector at GSC.

She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their skin through personalized care and clear skin education, with a strong emphasis on skin cancer awareness and prevention.

Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Grace has lived in Athens for the past nine years.

Leslie Bradley

Leslie Bradley is a licensed aesthetician and assistant laser practitioner at Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology with over 15 years of experience in dermatology and cosmetic care. She began her career with the practice as a medical assistant and cosmetic specialist, working closely with Dr. Campbell to assist with injections and a wide range of cosmetic procedures. Leslie provides personalized services including facials, microneedling, chemical peels, and laser treatments. Her extensive hands-on experience and commitment to patient care make her a trusted resource for patients seeking healthy, refreshed skin.

Mikayla Marcengill

Mikayla Marcengill joined Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology in 2020 as a licensed Aesthetician and Assistant Laser Practitioner. She began her aesthetics training at Athens Technical College in 2018, where she vastly expanded her knowledge of expert skin care.

Mikayla is passionate about determining treatment options for various skin concerns and conditions to achieve the best results for each of her clients on an individual level. She also loves helping her clients perfect their own skin care regimen to fit their daily lives. Mikayla now specializes in skin care procedures including micro-needling, extractions, chemical peels, and laser treatments.

Kaylea Bates

Kaylea is a Licensed Aesthetician and Assistant Laser Practitioner. She loves getting to know each patient and believes that every skin journey is unique. She is passionate about creating customized, result-driven treatment plans tailored to their unique skin concerns. Kaylea specializes in lasers, microneedling, and personalized skincare regimens.

Ellison Dobrotka

Ellison is a Licensed Aesthetician and Assistant Laser Practitioner who is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their skin through education, consistency, and personalized care. She enjoys being involved in both the medical and cosmetic side of dermatology and values creating a comfortable, supportive experience for every patient. Outside of work, she has a strong interest in health and fitness and believes overall wellness plays a key role in skin health. She enjoys staying active and continuously learning more about how lifestyle, skincare, and treatments work together to support long-term results.
