Ragan Phillips, PAC, MPAS is a native of South Carolina. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University, she attended the Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 2009 with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She is a NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants. Passionate about dermatology, Ragan joined the Georgia Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Dermatology team in 2012 bringing with her an abundance of dermatological knowledge. Ragan has experience treating a variety of medical and cosmetic dermatology conditions. She lives in Athens, GA with her husband, Daniel, and son, Carter. In her time away from work, Ragan enjoys spending time with family and friends. Ragan looks forward to meeting you and caring for your needs.  

Georgia Dermatology Physician's Assistant Amanda PisciottaAmanda Pisciotta, PA-C

Amanda Pisciotta is a NCCPA board certified physician assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science before moving to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from South College in 2012. Amanda returned to the Athens area and worked in primary care for over two years before joining Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology in 2015. She enjoys caring for general dermatology patients in our Athens area and Elberton offices. Amanda is also certified to offer patients a variety of cosmetic laser procedures. Amanda and her husband, Michael, are both natives of South Georgia but fell in love with Athens while attending UGA. They now call Athens their home and enjoy living in the area with their son, Noah.  

Georgia Dermatology Physician's Assistant Hope CookHope Cook, PA-C

Hope Cook joins us at our Lake Oconee location after working in dermatology in the Athens area for almost 8 years. Prior to discovering her love of medical dermatology, she was an internal medicine PA for 5 years. Hope graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University in 2002 after finishing her Biology degree at UGA. She is NCCPA certified and is very active in the local PA community, serving as the Georgia Association of PAs Regional Contact Liaison for Athens. She loves teaching, mentoring, and precepting students. Hope lives in Athens with her husband and two elementary age kids. She is an avid reader and a self-described foodie who enjoys trying new recipes. Hope has a passion for medical missions and serves as a volunteer at Mercy Health and with Interfaith Hospitality Network.    

Georgia Dermatology Physician's Assistant Courtney BowlingCourtney Bowling, PA-C

Courtney Bowling, MMSC, PA-C, is nationally accredited by the NCCPA as a board-certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Auburn University in 2008. Upon graduation, she moved to Athens, Georgia where she spent the next five years working in the pharmaceutical industry, gaining valuable knowledge and insight into the healthcare industry and collaborating with many primary care physicians in the local area. With a desire to be more involved with direct patient care and to expand her medical knowledge, Courtney then went on to earn her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Mercer University in 2015 and has worked in the field of dermatology ever since. With a sincere dedication to patient care and a passion for both medical and cosmetic dermatology, she joined our practice in 2017 and is excited to be a part of the Georgia Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Dermatology family. Courtney is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants. She still resides in Athens with her husband, Brad, and their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends & family, exercise & yoga, watching college football, and even enjoys watching the Dawgs play on Saturdays in Sanford Stadium as she has grown to love her “house divided.”

Georgia Dermatology Physician's Assistant Ben RosenBen Rosen, PA-C

Ben Rosen is an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant who received his B.A. from the University of Georgia and M.S.P.A.S. degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Surgical Physician Assistant program where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He comes to Athens after practicing both Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in the Greater Atlanta Area since 2014. He has a background of extensive training and experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, including specialized training at UAB University Hospital and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He also has comprehensive training in both cosmetic injectables and medical lasers. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA,) Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants (GDPA), and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Interestingly, Ben is a certified SCUBA diver and FAA licensed private pilot. He is a native of Marietta, GA. Ben currently lives in the Athens area with his lovely wife Ashley, son Josh, and their English Bulldog Gus.
